As part of our commitment to the environment Coopers Colonial Motel has installed Water Efficient Devices throughout the motel rooms. These devices included new water efficient shower heads and flow regulators on all taps in addition to our existing dual flush toilets. In your rooms towels are only changed if they have not been hung up and sheets only changed on request or every 4th day. By using the key tag system for your power also ensures lighting and air-conditioning is only running while the room is in use. The motel also uses all Energy Efficient light bulbs throughout all motel room as well as all external lighting throughout the complex.

We have also replanted our existing gardens with drought tolerant plants, and use environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals where possible. In reception we use recycled paper printed double sided to minimize waste and where possible we also reuse this paper for other office activities, we also have a printer cartridge recycling program in place and public transport options available for you. Where possible all glass and cardboard is recycled. As part of our ongoing commitment all existing air conditioners are being replaced with energy efficient inverter technology air-conditioners and old CRT TV monitors are being replaced with new low energy LCD TVs.
